Rudy Bier is one of the co-founders of Kinetic, bringing 17 years of specialised recruitment experience and over two decades living and working in the UAE. Throughout his career, he has established a strong reputation in the life sciences sector, combining deep market knowledge with a people-first approach. His focus has always been on creating meaningful connections – whether helping candidates secure their ideal roles or supporting clients in building high-performing teams.
Rudy’s journey to Kinetic is a testament to his adaptability and international perspective. He has lived and worked across Belgium, Spain, England, France, Monaco, and the UAE. His early career in hospitality allowed him to travel extensively, shaping his understanding of diverse cultures and business environments. Bilingual in French and English, he often surprises people who expect a French accent, having developed an English one after moving to the UK at an early age.
Outside the office, Rudy is a passionate sportsman. He has participated in multiple Ironman challenges as well as the legendary Marathon des Sables, raising funds for charity along the way. His love for adventure extends to family activities; he lives in Dubai with his wife, two children, and their rescue dog, Alfie, often joining them on hiking excursions across the UAE.
Rudy’s professional philosophy is rooted in personal growth and balance. He believes in the importance of forgiveness and letting go – advice that has guided him through both career challenges and life’s unexpected twists. If he were to write an autobiography, it would be titled “The Balance”, reflecting his approach to staying aligned through life’s challenges while balancing family, work, and personal well-being. True to his spirit, Rudy sees himself in the tiger – instinctive, resilient, and guided by intuition.
